Cover the men and women who walk through the doors of Inasmuch each morning with your presence and your grace. To those seeking hope and restoration through the Living Hope Program and all who find shelter at The Lodge, Lord, draw them close to you for you are the ultimate healer. Bless the volunteers and donors whose hearts and hands help move this mission forward. May your presence be evident in every life touched and may we always walk in Your will. Your talents and heart are needed. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities.

VOLUNTEER

    • Reception: Administrative or computer skills are preferred. Half-day or alternate/fill-in shifts available.

    • Breakfast Team: Churches, businesses, and other groups serve breakfast every weekday to ~100 people while another four person team cooks. 

    • Medical: Every other Wednesday morning after breakfast, a team of medical professionals volunteer their services for sick call and referral service, free of charge.

    • Haircuts: Volunteer barbers and/or hair stylists/beauticians help our Family feel brand new with fresh haircuts.

    • Life Skills Class Instructor: We need instructors in four areas: literacy (reading, computer, financial, study skills, etc.), interest based (gardening, photography, etc.), hands-on skills (carpentry, woodworking, sewing, etc.), or health related (nutrition, fitness, first aid, CPR, etc.) Classes are held Monday-Thursdays, 9:30-10:30 AM for a minimum of 4 weeks.n text goes here

    • Landscaping: This includes flower planting, weeding, mowing, etc.

    • Maintenance: We need support in the areas of plumbing, electrical, etc.

Imago Dei Art

Imago Dei is Latin for image of God. We believe that all people are created in God’s image, so they have value, worth, gifts and beauty.

This Art Exhibition is intended to bring a voice to men living within The Lodge. These men have been participating in art workshops for mixed-media art and photography. We also have other contributing artists who wanted to support this cause.

    November 24 - December 2, 2025

    Giving Tuesday in Cumberland County, organized by the Cumberland Community Foundation, is a local event that encourages charitable giving to support various nonprofits in the area. It's part of the larger, international Giving Tuesday movement, which takes place on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. During this period, the Cumberland Community Foundation amplifies donations through matching funds from local donors.
