LASTING SUPPORT
Leave a legacy.
HONORARIUMS & MEMORIALS
You can make a donation “in honor of” a friend or an event. You can also make a donation “in memory of” a loved one who has passed away.
These special gifts are acknowledged in our newsletter, “The Mission.” We will also send a card to them or their family. All other gifts are acknowledged in our Gifted to Give page.
ENDOWMENTS
Our goal is to bring our endowment balance to $1,000,000 by 2025. You can give any time and your donation will ensure that our programs can continue serving people experiencing homelessness in Fayetteville.
What is an Endowment?
It is a fund that never spends its principal. Instead, it creates an ongoing source of income for an organization through safe investments. Endowments generate earnings each year and serve as a permanent source of funding. They play a vital role in the long-term financial stability of Operation Inasmuch’s ministry. When you choose to make a donation, you make a difference not only during your lifetime but also for generations to come.
You can make contributions of:
Cash/checks in any amount
Real estate/life estate
Stocks/securities
Bequests: name Fayetteville Area Operation Inasmuch Endowment Fund in your will
Beneficiary designation for your life insurance or retirement accounts
Trusts/annuities
Other tangible assets
Create your own designated endowment fund
You can donate by check or online. To make a donation by check, you can make a check payable to Cumberland Community Foundation. Make a designation of “Fayetteville Area Operation Inasmuch Endowment Fund” or “Sue Parker Byrd Endowment Fund” (to benefit the breakfast program) in the memo line. Please mail checks to CCF, PO Box 2345, Fayetteville, NC 28302.
Cumberland Community Foundation (CCF) manages the investment and administrative responsibilities of the FAOIAM Endowment Fund. Since 1980, CCF is an experienced fund manager. It is an accountable steward of more than 500 funds. CCF is audited annually. It is certified in compliance with the National Standards for Community Foundations.
