A Place to Call Home

Inasmuch Village will be a permanent cottage community where Veterans who have experienced homelessness can find the safety, stability and dignity of a home.

Located near the Fayetteville Area Operation Inasmuch campus, the Village will include 16 fully furnished, one-bedroom cottages thoughtfully designed to meet residents’ needs. It will offer Veterans the opportunity to become part of a supportive community where they are known, valued and surrounded by hope.

The Story

Before there was a Village, there were faithful prayers.

For years, our staff and volunteers set out on Prayer Walks through the neighborhood around Inasmuch.

One place became the focus of countless prayers. The drug house beside our property. It stood as a symbol of the struggles surrounding our ministry, and we prayed that one day God would redeem and transform it into something that would bring healing instead of hurt.

Then, the unimaginable happened.

The property became available.

Inasmuch was able to purchase it.

The house came down.

Today, on that very ground, Inasmuch Village is rising.

A Transformational Investment

Inasmuch Village was made possible through an initial $2 million investment from Ralph and Linda Huff of Huff Family Office. Their generosity transformed a shared vision into an achievable plan and laid the foundation for a community that will serve Veterans for generations.

  • 16 fully furnished, one-bedroom cottages
  • Approximately 600 square feet per cottage
  • 12 accessible cottages
  • 4 cottages specially designed for residents with disabilities
  • A shared community gathering space
  • Green spaces and pet-friendly accommodations
  • Affordable rent based on 30% of each resident’s income
  • Permanent homes for Veterans who have experienced homelessness
  • First residents expected to move in during 2027

Help Build the Village

Through an Inasmuch Village sponsorship, individuals, families, churches, businesses and civic organizations can help prepare permanent homes for Veterans who have experienced homelessness.

Sponsorship support will help provide the cottages, furnishings, shared spaces and essential resources needed to welcome residents home. It will also help sustain the community and ensure that each Veteran is surrounded by the support necessary to build a stable future.
